Weird Animals VBS Save the Date!

We’re inviting all children to be a part of the excitement at our Vacation Bible School presenting

WEIRD ANIMALS

Where Jesus’ Love is One-of-a-Kind

This summer, kids enter the wacky world of Weird Animals VBS—encountering a wild adventure with many habitats! God filled the world with a lot of crazy creatures...including you! When kids feel weird, different, or even lost in a crowd—nothing compares to the extraordinary love of Jesus. Kids will experience God’s Word in surprising and unforgettable ways! Each day, leaders reinforce one simple Bible truth—which makes it easy for kids to remember and apply to real life! Children will extend their learning through five stations: at the Sing & Play Stampede, One-of-a-Kind Bible Adventures, KidVid Cinema, Experiments in Imagination Station, the Untamed Games and tasty snacks in The Critter Café all while participating in a wonderful mission helping children through OPERATION KID-to-KID.

Online registration is now available, reserve your spot now! Registration forms are also available in the church office or in the narthex.

Holy Week Services at OCC

Holy Week services: Tomorrow, Thursday, April 17, we will gather at 7pm for a solemn Tennebrae Service, composed mostly of hymns and scripture readings that focus on the Last Supper and the arrest of Jesus. We will share communion by intinction that evening. On Friday, April 18 we will gather at noon for a community Good Friday Service. This will be broadcast on WYRS, and will last two hours as different ministers from the community reflect on the meaning of the cross. On Sunday, April 20 we will gather at Sixth Street in Ship Bottom for our Easter Sunrise service 6am, and then back at the church at 9 and 11 for our Easter services. We pray that this will be a season of reflection and renewal for you, as we see the deep love of God for us and celebrate the victory of Jesus over all that stands in the way of life.
